McLean Community Center's 7th Annual McLean Martin Luther King Jr. Day Celebration, 'Embrace the Dream...Exploring our American Blues Heritage,' will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 17, in the Alden Theatre, 1234 Ingleside Ave. General Admission is $5 for adults; $3 for children (age 10 and younger), which includes a dinner reception catered by The Tender Rib in Temple Hills, Md.

The impressive technique and humor of the juggling duo, The Gizmo Guys, will be on display at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 16, in McLean's Alden Theatre. Part of the theatre's 2009-2010 McLean Kids Performance Series, the performance will be followed by a Tennis Ball Juggling Workshop at 3:30 p.m. Tickets to the show are $14, $10 for McLean tax district residents. The workshop is $10 per person. The theatre is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.
