What is happening at MCC this week: 

Straight From Philly: Philadanco
Friday, Feb. 12

Free, pre-performance chat with Philadanco founder Joan Myers Brown at 7 p.m.

This celebrated dance company is renowned for its innovative choreography, blending African American-based dance with ballet, jazz and modern. Part of our Black History Month celebration.

A Lovable Concert: Concerts at the Alden- Young Soloists Recital
Sunday, Feb. 14
3 p.m.
Free Admission
The premier showcase for great chamber music in Northern Virginia. Featuring Niki Hua, 15, who studies piano with Nancy O'Neill Breth; the piano-violin duo of Kimberly Hou, 15, a student of Marjorie Lee, and Anna-Luisa Mirto, 16, a student of Natalia Yampolsky; and Max Hou, 13, a piano student of Marjorie Lee.

The Concerts at the Alden series is sponsored by the Music Friends of the Fairfax County Public Library and the Alden Theatre at the McLean Community Center. Admission is free. Tickets are not required.
