Session 2 of the Young Company Theatre Camp is in full swing, with campers already diving into their roles in Julius Caesar and Antony and Cleopatra, two plays presented in three parts. Auditions and casting happened on Monday, July 19th, with the campers receiving their roles just moments before barreling into their first rehearsals.

Jason Marks followed his dream and kept 'Chasing Rainbows.' The singer received his 'Big Broadway Break' today from Staybridge Suites ? Times Square ? New York City and was named winner of the hotel's video contest in which contestants could sing either 'I'm Always Chasing Rainbows' or 'Give My Regards to Broadway.' Jason, a native of Richmond, VA, will receive a six-month stay at Staybridge Suites Times Square, a $5,000 stipend, sessions at Broadway Classroom to hone his skills and meetings with Broadway experts. He will also receive the opportunity to perform at Don't Tell Mamas in New York City on July 29, as part of Seth Rudetsky's Broadway Chatterbox live radio show on Sirius/XM.

Kim Renz, Executive Director of Theater at Lime Kiln, today announced two events just added to the 2010 season's roster. On August 27th, Lime Kiln will host a CD Release party, and on September 26th, the theater will present the Carolina Chocolate Drops to honor Mike Seeger.
