Lime Kiln Holds Labor Day Weekend Events

'Rockbridge County is the place to be on the Labor Day Weekend, and Theater at Lime Kiln is the center of activity,' said Executive Director Kim Renz. 'This holiday marks the premature end of summer and return to school, so we are hosting two summer music parties!'

Wayside Theatre, in Middletown, VA, presents the musical comedy, STRIKING 12, as its third production of the 2010/2011 season from August 28th to September 25th. Opening Night is Sunday, August 29 at 6:30pm. The remaining schedule of performances is Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 pm and Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday's at 2:30 pm. Ticket prices are $30 to $25 dollars for adults. Prices for children 5 to 17 are $10 for any performance. Discounts are available for students and seniors. ShenanArts will hold auditions from its upcoming production of THE OUTSIDERS on Saturday, August 28th from 10AM to 2PM. Location will be at ShenanArts at the nTelos Theatre at 300 Churchville Ave in Staunon. The show dates are currently scheduled for October 22th to 24th and 29th to 31st. The show is based on the novel by S.E. Hinton.

Barter Theatre Opens Enrollment For Fall Classes

Barter Theatre is now accepting enrollments for upcoming, fall workshops and classes that begin the week of September 13 through the end of October.
