Wayside Theatre Artistic Director Warner Crocker announced the Fall mystery play of the 2010-2011, cast and performance schedule for the Mark Twain's "A Murder, A Mystery, and A Marriage." The musical, A Murder, A Mystery, and A Marriage runs October 9 through November 6. The musical is written by Aaron Posner and James Sugg. The production is sponsored by WVPT-TV Your Source for PBS and More! And Clear Channel - Q102.

"Wayside Theatre has some of the best musical talent around and we continue to bring the magic! The musical will have you stomping your feet and have a good old time." said Warner Crocker, Artistic Director.

The old story of the pursuit of money leads Gray to fall into the masquerading trap of a mysterious Frenchman, who literally appears out of nowhere. The plot is further complicated by the Cain-and-Abel relationship between Gray and his brother, who has somehow managed to become successful. Gray's other dream is that his daughter will be the sole heir to his brother's estate. We have heroes, heroines, and dastardly villains. There are great tunes, goofy jokes, and a whole lot of singing. What happens when you combine Mark Twain, Murder, Mystery and a possible marriage and Bluegrass? Magic and mayhem, that's what!!

The cast is a mixture of Wayside Theatre audience veteran favorite actor/musicians Thomasin Savaiano (Buddy! The Buddy Holly Story, Southern Crossroads), Bob Payne (Shenandoah, Cotton Patch Gospel, Miracle on 34th Street, Buddy! The Buddy Holly Story), Bill Diggle (Shenandoah, Southern Crossroads, A Christmas Carol), Katherine Yacko (Shenandoah, Dell Man's Cell Phone), Eddie Staver (Shenandoah, Harvey, Miracle on 34th Street), and Aaron Mann (Shenandoah), Steve Przybylski (Striking 12, Shenandoah, Southern Crossroads, Buddy! The Buddy Holly Story, and Smoke on the Mountain trilogy), and musician newcomers: Steve Yaussi and Andrew Crowe.

The production is directed by Warner Crocker and musical directed by Steve Przybylski. The Set Designed by Til Turner, Costume Design by Tamara Carruthers and Lighting Design by Wes Calken.
