Wonder Christmas Experience auditions at Kingsley Hotel

It is the most wonderful time of the year and lists have been checked twice as Fota Island Resort prepares to welcome Santa and his band of helpers for their magical Christmas event. Now in its seventh year at Fota Island Resort, Santa has something very special planned for this year’s Wonder Experience and is putting the call out for the most festive elves in Ireland to help him bring the wonder of Christmas to Irish families.
Bring your best Christmas cheer for the chance to take your place beside Santa as auditions take place in Kingsley Hotel on Wednesday September 25 from 3pm to 8pm. This year Santa Claus will have the help of RTE's Operation Transformation's Trisha Lewis (AKA Trisha Transformation) to put together the brightest, bubbliest and best of Ireland’s elves to band together and combine their elf dust to bring a land full of wonder and awe to Cork.
Trisha Transformation will be joined by fellow judges Seamus Leahy of The Fota Collection and Teral Cullen, Project Manager of Wonder, to cast their eyes over an expected crowd of hundreds. A theme of 'Another Christmas Movie' will run through the afternoon where those auditioning will be asked to come up with their 'Christmas take' on some well-known movies. The judges will also be quizzing potential elves on their knowledge of the different types of snow, the fastest way to put together a toy and how to make the tastiest candy cane.
Fota Island Resort welcomes over 60,000 guests to its Christmas wonderland each year. If you think you have what it takes to bring bucket loads of enthusiasm to the role and help spread the wonder of Christmas come along to the Kingsley on Wednesday September 25 from 3pm to 8pm. Come in character and bring any props or costumes to make your audition a memorable one.
Applicants must be 16 or over and available from the 25th of October to the 1st November and 23 of November to the 23 of December 2019 and training days and you will be required to work outdoors.
Wonder at Fota Island Resort runs from the 23 of November to the 23 of December. Individual tickets for Wonder at Fota Island Resort cost from €14.00 to €18.00 per adult and €21.00 to €28.00 per child and children under one free. Tickets available to buy online from October 2 at
