Hanover Area Theatre Group Announces Auditions for Disney’s MARY POPPINS The Musical
ACTS of Kindness Theatre Co. in Hanover PA announces auditions for the musical MARY POPPINS:
Vocally strong actors and actresses age 7 and up are needed to fulfill roles of the many colorful characters and ensemble in this timeless classic. See below for ages and character descriptions. Male and female technical dancers are also needed. Tap dancers are needed for one of the numbers. Not all dancers need to tap.
-Builders, seamstresses, painters and donation of paint and building supplies. Sponsorships are available.
-Auditions and Performance will be held at The Eichelberger Performing Arts Center in Hanover, PA
AUDITION DATES
Saturday, May 9th - 3-6 p.m.
Sunday May 10th - 7-9 p.m.
Saturday, May 16th - 3-6 p.m.
Sunday, May 17th – Auditions 2-4p.m. Callbacks 4-6p.m.
-Show dates are July 24,25,26,31, August 1 & 2.

-Prepare 18 bars of upbeat music that best shows your range. Bring sheet music or CD accompaniment. NO ACAPELLA will be accepted. A pianist and CD player will be provided. Wear comfortable clothing and be prepared to dance.
-Callbacks are on May 17. If you audition that day, please be prepared (if asked) to stay later for callbacks. If you audition any of the other days, please keep May 17th open for possible callback.
***We encourage you to audition the first weekend to avoid the crowds on the second weekend. Be aware that if there are LESS people auditioning, you generally receive more individual attention.
Please know your vacation / out of town conflicts when you come to auditions.
