Produced by Judy Miller

We are looking to cast the following roles:

• Alan – Distracts himself and pours himself into his work to allow his god of carnage to flow. Married to Annette.

• Annette – Must be in control of herself, and life, at all times. She is closest to the brink, and wholly dissatisfied with life. Married to Alan.

• Michael – A man trapped by conformity and who suppresses his more primal instincts. Married to Veronica.

• Veronica – Holds her life together by focusing and imposing positivity outward. Abhors violent natures and opposes her life’s basic truths. Married to Michael.

Synopsis: After two eleven-year-old boys have a scuffle at a playground, their parents face in order to resolve the matter on their own. Despite the best attempts at courtesy and respect, hard truths and insecurities surface, pitting couple against couple, man against women, and even husband against wife. A Broadway hit and winner of the 2009 Tony® Award for Best Play, God of Carnage takes a painfully funny look at parents behaving worse than their kids.

** This production is considered PG-13. It contains adult language and violence. **

What to prepare? Please prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue, not from God of Carnage. Sides will be provided.
