Nicely Theatre Group announces youth auditions for the Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical masterpiece, “Oliver!” We are actively seeking a diverse cast that represents our metro-Detroit community. Interested parties, ages 10+, are welcome; non-equity actors only. All roles are paid. Casting for the youth roles is gender-blind, and the youth actors will be cast and appear to be between 10 and 15 years old.
Auditions will be held at The Berman Center for Performing Arts in West Bloomfield. We are seeking performers with STRONG DANCE, VOCAL & ACTING SKILLS.
? The audition will begin with learning a dance combination in a group format. The combination will assess musicality, technique, coordination, and storytelling.
? Please wear jazz shoes or dance heels/boots and proper movement attire that allows for a full range of motion. Dancers of all experience levels are encouraged to attend. We are actively looking for adult and youth dancers with technical abilities, including tap, acro, ballet, jazz, and contemporary styles.
? Dance will be followed by individual vocal and acting auditions.
