FOUR WEDDINGS AND AN ELVIS - Eastbound Theatre

Eastbound Theatre, a division of the Milford Arts Council, announces auditions for the second show of its 26th season. The hilarious comedy, Four Weddings and An Elvis by Nancy Frick, directed by Tanya Feduik-Smith will be on stage at the MAC January 31st through February 16th, 2020. Auditions will be held on November 12th from 7pm to 9:00 pm at the MAC, 40 Railroad Avenue South, Milford; and November 14th from 7pm to 9:00 pm, at the Margaret Egan Center, 35 Matthews Street, Milford. Callbacks, if necessary, will be November 19th at 7pm at the MAC. Additionally, interested actors who may be unable to attend auditions should contact the director at

Synopsis:

Four Weddings and an Elvis is a heart-warming comedy about Sandy, the owner of a Las Vegas wedding chapel. As the play unfolds, the audience experiences the four most memorable and interesting weddings of her career. A fun, fast- paced play with hilarious characters and unexpected twists and turns.

This is a large cast, with 11 available roles: 4 Women, 7 Men. Actors will be asked to read sides from the script. Actors interested in reviewing the script should contact the director at

Roles available:

Women:

Sandy: The wedding chapel owner - 30's +

Bev: The angry bride - Any age

Vanessa: The bride, a fading actress - 50's +

Fiona: The bride, a tough ex-con - Any age

Men:

Stan/The Producer: The angry groom - Any age

John: The Elvis minister - Any age, requires singing two songs, a capella, “Elvis-style”

Bryce: The groom, a fading actor - 50's +

Lou: The minister, 50's +

Marvin: The groom, gentle postal worker - Any age, small in stature

Fist: Scary friend of the bride - Any age, large in stature.

Ken: A walk on role, at the end of the play.
