Drama Works Theatre Company (Old Saybrook, CT) seeks 3 non-union actors for The Deer and the Antelope Play by Mark Dunn, a comedic drama about surviving the toughest challenges even when you want to burn it all down.
Audition dates: January 31st, 1:00-3:00 PM & February 1st, 1:00-3:00 PM
Casting the following roles:
ELEANOR KAISER, [Female, 60’s] - Eleanor has been living alone to ease her loneliness. She has decided to rent a room to a boarder, Kenetta, a woman of a questionable background.
CAROL MONTGOMERY, [Female, 40’s] - Eleanor’s daughter who has just moved into Eleanor's house following a fire that has caused her and her daughter to become homeless.
MINDY MONTGOMERY, [Female, 19] - Carol’s daughter who has been suffering mentally from her involvement in a tragic event. It has left her solemn and withdrawn.
The auditions will be held at the theatre, 323 Boston Post Road in Old Saybrook, CT. Sides will be provided at the audition.
Rehearsals start on March 9th
Performances are April 24, 25, 26 and May 1, 2, 3.
