'Beethoven's Wrong Note: A Steampunk Opera' at The Burgdorff Center for the Performing Arts

Join the Maplewood Strollers in a world-premiere event 220 years in the making!  Beethoven has joined forces with Mozart's famed librettist in an effort to raise enough money to run away to Paris with his "Immortal Beloved."  The only thing standing in his way is the silly plot!!   Hear the unfinished product, 'Vestal Flame, as an opera-within-in-the-opera sung in English for the first time!  Blending opera, rock/pop and the music of Ludwig van Beethoven, 'Beethoven's Wrong Note' is a light-hearted comic romp behind the scenes as we bear witness to the tipping point that lead to Beethoven's rise in prominence as a composer.
