Under the baton of conductor Kyunghun Kim, the program highlights three signature works spanning Mozart’s orchestral and chamber repertoire:
• Divertimento for Strings in D Major, K. 136: A sparkling, youthful work brimming with melodic elegance. • Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major, K. 219 ("Turkish"): Featuring internationally acclaimed violinist TianYou Ma, 2nd Prize Winner of the Michael Hill International Violin Competition. • Symphony No. 40 in G Minor, K. 550: One of Mozart's most iconic and emotionally compelling masterpieces.
ABOUT THE ARTISTS:
TianYou Ma (Violin Soloist): Hailed for his compelling musicality and technical mastery, violinist TianYou Ma gained international prominence after placing 2nd at the Michael Hill International Violin Competition. He has performed as a soloist across Australasia, Europe, and North America.
Kyunghun Kim (Conductor): Serving as Music Director and Principal Conductor for classical ensembles across the metropolitan region, Kyunghun Kim brings nuanced artistic direction and incisive interpretations to symphonic literature.
