Karen Luschar brings her acclaimed show, Chasing Rainbows--Songs of Judy Garland to the Rosen Performing Arts Center in Wayne, NJ on Thursday July 19th at 7pm.
A seasoned Broadway and international performer, Luschar captures Judy Garland’s heartbreaking vulnerability and spunk in an exciting theatrical concert evening which celebrates this incredible icon and the songs she imprinted on the hearts of millions. With over 35 songs including I Love a Piano, The Trolley Song, A Great Day For the Irish, Swanee, Easter Parade, But Not For Me, and Come Rain or Come Shine, Garland’s story and music are seamlessly woven together taking the audience on a journey through the exuberant highs and very difficult lows of Garland’s personal life and career. Karen received a Broadway World Award nomination for this show which she also performed at Lincoln Center.
Karen’s dynamic three octave range and talents have been seen on Broadway, Off-Broadway, at Lincoln Center, in national tours, performing arts venues, Japan, Canada, Las Vegas, cruise ships, conferences and commercials.
