Backstage Pathways is a new arts education program launched by the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in partnership with Prudential Center’s RECORD HIGH, made possible by an $80,000 grant from the Devils Youth Foundation. This initiative aims to train young artists for careers in technical theater and live concert production, focusing on skills such as lighting, sound technology, and set construction. Students will benefit from hands-on learning and masterclasses with members of IATSE, gaining practical experience while managing productions for end-of-semester performances. The program runs from October 3, 2024, to May 17, 2025, providing access to valuable industry connections and education.
