Alabama Story at DMK Black Box Theatre

Alabama Story by Kenneth Jones blends fact and fiction to explore the clash between censorship and civil rights in the Jim Crow South. The drama centers on a librarian who goes head-to-head with a segregationist state senator, using the real 1958 children's book The Rabbits' Wedding by Garth Williams as both plot device and metaphor.
