For Norman and Ethel Thayer, this summer on golden pond is filled with conflict and resolution. When their daughter Chelsea arrives, the family is forced to renew the bonds of love and overcome the generational friction that has existed for years.
Following the screening, Oscar®-winner for his adapted screenplay (of his play) Ernest Thompson will conduct a Q & A about the film and discuss his new novel, "The Book of Maps." Ernest will be autographing copies of his book.
PLUS, Ernest's Oscar® statuette will be in attendance as well!
Oscar-winning writer Ernest Thompson will be at The Park Theatre in Jaffrey, New Hampshire, for a special screening of his classic film, On Golden Pond, on Sunday, July 9, at 4 pm. After the screening, Mr. Thompson will discuss the film and talk about his new novel, The Book of Maps.
The Park Theatre in Jaffrey, New Hampshire is producing a live online panel discussion program three days before this year’s Oscar awards program (April 25, ABC Network). The ticketed panel discussion program, Oscar Talk!, will be presented live on Thursday, April 22, at 7pm with on-demand repeats available later.
The Park Theatre will air its live telethon and auction via Facebook Live and YouTube Live simultaneously this Friday, July 10, starting at 7pm, EDT. The evening will be co-hosted by Steve Jackson (Park Theatre CEO) and actor (tv, film, stage), Lisa Bostnar. The telethon and auction will help fund the final stages of the new performing arts center.
