(08/28/2021) - William Shakespeare's Twelfth Night or What You Will is perhaps the greatest of his comedies. It was originally staged in the 16th century as part of a then-traditional Twelfth Night celebration. In director, J.C. Gafford's rendition, the audience members are invited guests to a Shakespearean celebration given by the Mummers, a 19th century traveling acting troupe.

(02/26/2020) - STICKS & STONES, a new musical with music by Grammy/Emmy winner John McDaniel (The Rosie O'Donnell Show, Catch Me If You Can, Annie Get Your Gun) and book/lyrics by Scott Logsdon (Les Misérables, Joyce Jackson's Guide to Dating) was given a private reading/presentation on Monday, February 25th at Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Since its world premiere in 2008, Nashville Ballet artistic director and CEO Paul Vasterling's original take on the holiday season classic has cemented its place as one of Music City's most beloved traditions and the 2017 staging had its opening night on Saturday, December 2.

Polk Theater (505 Deaderick St. Nashville, TN) opening officially on Sunday, September 10, 2017. The show began previews on Friday, September 8th. The developmental production will run through Sunday, September 24, 2017.
(09/01/2017) - Part of the Plan - a new musical featuring 20 iconic songs from the catalogue of acclaimed singer/songwriter Dan Fogelberg - celebrates its world premiere and its possible trek toward Broadway with a 19-performance run at Nashville's Tennessee Performing Arts Center. The production opens Thursday, September 8 and continues through September 24 at TPAC's James K. Polk Theatre, with a gala red carpet event heralding the show's official opening night on Sunday, September 10.
(07/18/2017) - Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, writer Lanie Robertson's insightful and moving look at jazz legend Billie Holiday and her life and career, continues its run at Brentwood's Towne Centre Theatre. Directed by Dave Ragland and starring Jennifer Whitcomb-Oliva in her stunning onstage transformation to become Lady Day, it's one of the highlights of an especially impressive Nashville theater season filled with strong performances and shows both challenging and introspective.
(04/12/2017) - Nashville Shakespeare Festival continues its 2017 season with Richard II, a co-production with Lipscomb University, which will run from Thursday, April 13, through Sunday, April 23. The rarely-produced play features an all-female cast and will be performed at Lipscomb University's Shamblin Theatre. (04/10/2017) - Originally shot as a film featuring local actress Cinda McCain, Crazy All These Years is a poignant yet humorous look at life, death and the damage caused by running away from the past. This new drama, described as 'quiet and compelling,' focuses on Ben, a gay man who returns to his small Tennessee hometown to care for his cantankerous dying mother. As they struggle to understand one another, Ben must also examine his previous relationships and the broken hearts left in his wake.
