Many moons ago in a far-off place, Queen Aggravain decreed no couples could marry until her son, Prince Dauntless, found a bride.
Princesses come from far and wide to win the hand of the prince, but none can pass the impossible tests given to them by the Queen. That is, until the swamp princess, Winnifred, shows up! If Winnifred can pass the Queen's ultimate Sensitivity Test, she can marry Prince Dauntless and help all the Lords and Ladies of the kingdom to the alter.
This musical comedy presented by the talented Bravo Teen Company, is a hilarious tweaking of Hans Christian Anderson's "The Princess and the Pea." With high energy dance numbers (Shy, Spanish Panic,Song of Love) soaring ballads (In a Little While), tap, pantomime, jazz, and more, this dazzling musical comedy from Rodgers and Hammerstein collection has it all!!
Once Upon a Mattress is a full scale production presented in two acts with intermission. Free and easy access parking to spacious theater. Two hour event.
