Nashville Ballet looking for local talent to develop; A Scholarship Audition for Summer Intensive training at School of Nashville Ballet will be held on Saturday, June 5th.

When: Saturday, June 5, 2010
Where: The Martin Center for Dance, 3630 Redmon Street, Nashville, TN 37209
Time: Registration at 1:30 p.m. and audition class from 2-4:00 p.m.

Admission to the School of Nashville Ballet Summer Intensive is by audition only. The School welcomes applicants of all races and national or ethnic backgrounds who have turned 12 years of age and will be no older than 21 years of age on May 1, 2010. A minimum of four years of concentrated ballet is required, with two years of pointe work for female students.

Bring headshot and one photo in first arabesque (en pointe for ladies). Proper attire required. Audition will include pointe work, so ladies please come prepared.

Dancers are invited to stay and have a Q & A session one of the NB2 members who auditioned for Fox TV's "So You Think You can Dance". Get inside tips for auditioning, hear about her experience and learn more about training to be a professional dancer.

Scholarships will be awarded by merit.
