Ihsane, choreographed by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, showcases the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève at the Théâtre Maisonneuve from October 1 to 4, 2025. This work intertwines dance, music, and poetry, reflecting Cherkaoui's heritage and the influence of his father's journey from Morocco to Flanders. With around twenty performers and a unique soundscape by composer Jasser Haj Youssef, the production presents a journey that reconciles memory and the present while inviting audiences into an immersive experience.
