The Snow Queen is a reimagined holiday ballet presented by Ballet Co.Laboratory, taking place from December 19 to December 21, 2025. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale, this production explores themes of love, courage, and family bonds, focusing on the journey of characters who rediscover themselves. Sage Engle-Laird, transitioning from the role of Gerda to the Snow Queen, emphasizes the complexity and humanity within her character. Accompanied by the music of Ethel Smyth, this enchanting performance involves 90 dancers, showcasing stunning costumes and sets for a heartwarming experience suitable for all ages.
