Merrily We Roll Along, with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by George Furth, is told in reverse chronological order, beginning at the height of composer Franklin Shepard's career and traveling backward through the years to uncover the hopes, choices, and relationships that shaped his journey. The musical explores friendship, ambition, and the price of success through one of Sondheim's most celebrated scores. Directed by Scott Ford, with music direction by Ben Emory Larson and choreography by James Grace, this production runs September 11 through October 4, 2026 at Lyric Arts Company of Anoka's Main Street Stage.
