Marcus Performing Arts Center presents a?oeLive at Royal Albert Hall [Revisited]: The Everly Brothers Reunion Concert,a?? a re-creation of the iconic 1983 reunion concert featuring award-winning recording artists Lee Lessack and Johnny Rodgers. Lessack and Rodgers will perform all the masterpieces heard that night, include a?oeAll I Have to Do Is Dream,a?? a?oeDevoted to You,a?? a?oeBye Bye Love,a?? a?oeCathy's Clown,a?? a?oeWake Up Little Susiea?? and many more. After a decade of not speaking to each other, British guitarist Albert Lee was able to bring the Everly Brothers back together in 1983, for what he thought would be a one-off concert at London's Royal Albert Hall. That the reunion lasted for another 26 years was an unexpected, but pleasing, bonus.

The Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra is currently paving the way for one of downtown Milwaukee's largest redevelopment projects. The MSO is undergoing an $89 million conversion of Milwaukee's former Warner Grand Theater into its new concert hall, which is expected to open fall 2020. As part of this conversion, a rarely-seen construction feat took place yesterday, August 13, 2019, as an original 1931 seven-story cream city brick wall was moved 35 feet towards a city street while remaining fully intact.

I wonder how I'd feel if I didn't already know those old songs by heart. That's the risk the show's creators took in translating Anastasia for Broadway.

In consultation with the board chair and a small advisory group of board directors, we are delighted to announce that Ms. Deutsch will transition into the first Music Director Laureate in MYSO's history, in recognition of her long-standing commitment to musical artistry and education. Her tenure saw the expansion of MYSO's reach internationally as she led tours throughout the world including China, Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Canada, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Scotland, Argentina, Uruguay, and Ireland, as well as in the United States.
