by Eboni Booth

Directed by Antoine McKay

By day Kenneth sells books, and by night he drinks mai tais at a Tiki Bar with his best friend Bert. When he is laid off, he is forced to reckon with a world he has long avoided.

Primary Trust is an achingly beautiful tale that celebrates friendship, connection and small acts of kindness that can change a person’s life, and enrich an entire community.

Winner of the 2024 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

“As tenderhearted as it is spryly comic and as poignant as it is ultimately uplifting.”Los Angeles Times

This play runs 90 minutes with no intermission.

Primary Trust at Detroit Repertory Theatre Schedule

Four shows a week, Fridays at 8pm, Saturdays at 3pm and 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm. Running from November 7 to December 28
