Home is where the heart is... and the mayhem.
Crimes of the Heart by Beth Henley is a wickedly funny and deeply moving portrait of three eccentric sisters brought back together in their small-town Mississippi home after the youngest, Babe, shoots her abusive husband. Navigating scandal, simmering resentments, and a family legacy of heartbreak, the Magrath sisters find themselves teetering between tragedy and absurdity. With razor-sharp wit and raw emotional truth, Henley’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play captures the chaos, comedy, and the unbreakable bond of sisterhood.
The Inspired Acting Company is a non-profit 501(c)3 professional theatre operating in Walled Lake, Michigan (Commerce Township). We are on a mission to tell relevant, timely, and inclusive stories through productions of world-class plays, both new and classical.
