As part of Hued Songs' two-year performance residency with the African American Research Library and Cultural Center, this free intergenerational workshop invites participants to engage with the themes of The Juneteenth Experience through hands-on artistic practice. Led by Pangea Kali Virga, the workshop centers on a collective Emancipation Flag craft experience that honors the past, holds the present, and gestures toward a freer future.
