Dance NOW! Miami closes its season with Love Lost & Found: Program III, featuring two world premieres and three repertory works at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center on May 9. Co-Artistic Director Hannah Baumgarten's new contemporary ballet, Love-less: Dance of the Last Moho braccatus, draws on the story of an extinct Hawaiian songbird as a meditation on loss and environmental fragility, with an original score by Federico Bonacossa, costumes by Haydee and Maria Morales, set design by Bruce F. Brown, and video art by Co-Artistic Director Diego Salterini. The second world premiere, Traces, choreographed by Salterini, follows one woman's journey through love, belonging, and self-discovery with the full company of ten dancers. The program also includes Deco-de, an excerpt of Blue Pencil, and an encore of Tandy Beal's Forest Dreams as part of DNM's Masterpiece in Motion series.
