South Florida Symphony Orchestra's 28th season, titled Juxtapositions, begins on November 5 at The Parker in Fort Lauderdale. Under the direction of Maestra Sebrina María Alfonso, the season opens with dynamic compositions from Brahms, Saint-Saëns, Beethoven, and Massenet. Grammy-winning cellist Zuill Bailey returns to perform Saint-Saëns' Cello Concerto No. 1, showcasing his renowned artistry. The concert highlights themes of struggle and triumph, culminating in Brahms' Symphony No. 1, a powerful testament to resilience and hope.
