FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

LifeLine Productions Presents Entangled – A Bold, Funny, and Deeply Personal Theatrical Experience on Mental Health and Identity

Sarasota, FL – LifeLine Productions is proud to present our second world premiere, Entangled, a raw, humorous, and deeply personal new work written and performed by Will Luera, an internationally recognized performer, director, and improviser known for pushing the boundaries of improvisation and storytelling. Running May 15–25, 2025, at Cook Theatre in Sarasota, this groundbreaking production blends humor, vulnerability, and self-reflection to explore mental health, identity, and the inner dialogue that shapes our lives.

Through a mix of personal narrative, theatrical storytelling, and deeply honest moments, Entangled takes audiences on a journey through childhood, family, cultural identity, and the pressures of achievement, all while unpacking the complexities of anxiety, self-doubt, and the search for self-acceptance.

“Bringing Entangled to life has been equal parts exhilarating and nerve-wracking, " said Luera. “I’ve always believed that laughter lets us tiptoe closer to truths we normally hide, and this show dives right into those raw, vulnerable places. My hope is that when people see these messy, honest parts of my story, they’ll feel a little braver about sharing their own - and realize that none of us are as alone as we sometimes think.”

A pioneering voice in improvisation and comedic storytelling, Luera has spent decades exploring how humor and vulnerability intersect to create meaningful human connection. He has performed, directed, and taught all over the world, with a style that blends tradition with innovation. Beyond his work with LifeLine Productions, he is a sought-after performer and director known for his ability to use improv as a tool for self-exploration, emotional resilience, and storytelling that resonates. With Entangled, he brings his signature blend of humor and raw honesty to the stage, offering audiences a uniquely engaging and thought-provoking experience.
