In celebration of Downtown Art Days, MOAD MDC will offer free admission, family programs and tours of the exhibitions currently on view, such as By the People: Designing a Better America and William Kentridge: More Sweetly Play the Dance. The Museum will also hold a dollar sale of discounted art books and catalogues, including many international titles. New members will also receive a free publication about Tower of Snow, distinguished Cuban artist Enrique Martínez Celaya’s bronze sculpture, which stands just across the street from the Freedom Tower where the museum is located.
Free tours of Miami Dade College Special collections and MOAD MDC’s exhibitions will be offered at 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. each day. Family Programs will start at 2:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
