Actors' Playhouse Musical Theatre For Young Audiences presents Madeline's Christmas for the Little Ones Over the Holidays

Regarded as "Best in Miami" with the Annual KIDS CROWN AWARD from South Florida Parenting Magazine readers, Actors' Playhouse presents Madeline's Christmas at the Miracle Theatre In Coral Gables for the holidays. Madeline's Christmas is the second musical for children in Actors' Playhouse's popular children's musical series for 2006-2007.

Based on the popular book series by Ludwig Bemelman, this delightful musical of Madeline's' Christmas with book and lyrics by Jennifer Kirk by and music by Shirley Mier, will be presented from November 28-December 23, 2006 on Saturday's at 11 am and weekdays for pre-arranged school groups. A delightful tale of how one little girl named Madeline saves the Christmas holiday for eleven of her friends with a "miracle" and a magic carpet ride.

"In an old house in Paris that was covered with vines lived twelve little girls in two straight lines." So begins this delightful story of Madeline's Christmas! The day begins like any other day for the girls and their caretaker Miss Clavel, but soon ends in disaster when everyone but Madeline gets the flu. Saddened that they may not be able to go home for Christmas, the girls and Miss Clavel take to their beds. Can Madeline save the day for everyone with the assistance of a mysterious Rug Merchant? Discover the answer in this delightful musical based on the popular Madeline book series.

Admission is $12 a person with special rates for Birthday parties for show only and cake and pizza receptions.
