The Music Center Presents Black Planetarium: Uncharted Anthologies is a free immersive exhibition showcasing L.A.-based artist Kidus Hailesilassie's innovative blend of virtual reality and storytelling. Opening on October 23, 2025, this two-month experience invites visitors into a meditative space that honors 6,000 years of African traditions through dance, language, and collective movement. Visitors will engage with a sensory-rich performance featuring dancer Hvrmony Adams, while narrator Vida Osei shares the dance’s origins in Twi. Situated in the new Digital Arts Space, the exhibit aims to foster reflection and connection within the Downtown L.A. community.
