Alfred Uhry's heartwarming 1988 Pulitzer Prize-winner (and Outer Critics Circle Award for Oustanding Off-Broadway Play) is
a humorous and affecting study of the unlikely relationship between an aging, opinionated white Jewish lady from the Deep South and a proud, soft-spoken black man who is hired by her son to be her chauffeur. A long-running Off-Broadway success and an Academy Award-winning film.
Interact Theatre, in partnership with Los Angeles Public Library LA Made and the Department of Cultural Affairs, presents a staged reading series of five exceptional plays that were awarded literature's highest honor, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
The second play in the series, DRIVING MISS DAISY will be performed on Saturday, February 10th at 2:00 PM at the Studio City Branch Library,
