The Women of Lockerbie at Covina Theatre

The Women of Lockerbie, written by Deborah Brevoort and directed by Christina Harris, is a poetic drama loosely inspired by a true story in which a mother from New Jersey roams the hills of Lockerbie, Scotland, searching for her son's remains seven years after the crash of Pan Am 103. She encounters the women of Lockerbie, who are fighting the US government to obtain the clothing of the victims so they may wash and return them to the victims' families. Written in the structure of a Greek tragedy, the play explores the triumph of love over hate. The cast features Libby Baker, Lacy Blake-Vetter, Nicole Erb, Christina Harris, Scott Harris, Michael Klug, Vanessa Mizzone, Luca Nicoletti, Donna Jo Thorndale, and Suzanne Voss.
