The Riot Stage is an original production by teen-founded Shakespeare theater and film company led by 15-year-old Company Director Samantha Leeds, developed in collaboration with Creative Director Zoey Zimmerman. The production integrates high-end filmed sequences into a fully staged theatrical experience, reimagining Shakespeare through a contemporary, youth-driven lens that moves fluidly between stage and screen. Student performers from multiple Los Angeles schools collaborate on original work rooted in classical text, with the company's mission to transform young people's lives through the timeless stories and themes of Shakespeare.
