The Real Lady Macbeth - Lifting the Curse is a play that rehabilitates the historical Lady Macbeth, an 11th century Scottish queen whose name and memory have been slandered on stages worldwide for 500 years. Written by Coco Blignaut and Edison Park and directed by Sofia Streisand, the production uses a Burning Man aesthetic with modern bohemian costume, avant-garde props, and blends historical worlds to deliver a timely message. Award-winning singer and composer Kristin Amarie and co-composer and producer Alex Salzman contribute haunting and ethereal music to the production. The show is a participant in the 2026 Hollywood Fringe Festival.
