A free participatory installation invites visitors to encounter and become gwoemul, shapeshifting beasts from Korean folklore. Created by Los Angeles-based artists Scarlett Kim and Anthony Storniolo, it transports participants to a retro-futuristic world suspended between Seoul and Los Angeles. Participants choose a beast and use their bodies and movements to help shape its story and fate. The self-guided experience lets visitors explore at their own pace, following one beast or all of them.
