The Award-winning Actors Co-op Theatre Company presents THE SPITFIRE GRILL with music and book by James Valcq, lyrics and book by Fred Alley, based on the film by Lee David Zlotoff, directed by Bonnie Hellman, and produced by Kimi Walker. Based on the 1996 film, “The Spitfire Grill” is a heartwarming American musical about what happens when a girl with a dark past meets a town with no hope. This award-winning musical demonstrates how a single person can become a beacon of hope, bringing a community together and healing old wounds. It celebrates the power of redemption, perseverance and community. THE SPITFIRE GRILL runs May 2nd - June 8th, Fridays and Saturdays 7:30pm, Sundays 2:30pm, with additional matinees Saturdays May 17th at 3:00pm and May 31st at 2:30pm.
Actors Co-op Theatre is at 1760 N. Gower St., on the campus of the First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood, Hollywood, CA 90028. , Hollywood.
