A free outdoor concert showcase featuring DJ Rick Wren, DJ Evelyn Starlight, DJ Hyphen Select, and The Soul Beacons at Valleydale Park in Azusa. The event bridges ceremonial sounds with sun-soaked, high-energy California funk, featuring funky soulful 45s, contemporary R&B and hip-hop, soulful bassline-driven sets, and live soul music anchored by crisp drums, electric bass, blazing guitars, and a HiFi Hammond organ. The showcase is part of Sounds of LA County, a first-of-its-kind standalone free summer concert series produced by NextFest LA across 27 parks and 108 concerts throughout Los Angeles County. Performances run from 6 to 9 PM.
