Solace: Wax & Wane is a poetic, lunar-inspired solo work exploring the rise, rupture, and renewal of love. The piece follows Solace, a man who seeks refuge in the constancy of the moon after repeated heartbreak, navigating the ecstasy and turmoil of loving those who cannot fully step into the light. The work is written and performed by Gavin Whitt, a performer, writer, director, and teaching artist who leads the theater company Whimsycube. The production is presented as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2026.
