LA Opera has announced the 2023 recipients of the Eva and Marc Stern Artist Award: conductor Lina González-Granados and bass-baritone Nicholas Brownlee.
LA Opera has announced the seven performers who will be joining the company this fall as new members of the Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program for the 2022/23 season.
LA Opera will present the grandest of grand operas, Giuseppe Verdi's Aida, from May 12 through June 12, 2022, conducted by Music Director James Conlon.

LA Opera will present the first episode of its newly revived After Hours recital series with a program entitled 'Black Love' on Saturday, February 13, at 5pm (PST).
As LA Opera anticipates resuming public performances this fall, the company is continuing to look to its artistic future, welcoming the newest member of its leadership team: opera star Russell Thomas, one of today's most prominent tenors, is joining the company as Artist in Residence.
LA Opera announced today that it is postponing four productions that were scheduled for later this year to the fall of 2021 due to concerns for artist and patron safety regarding COVID-19.
