#PeasantVibes at Theatre68 Art Complex

#PeasantVibes is a personal memoir and satirical dramedy solo show written and performed by Mikkel Simons. The show uses her own lived experiences to bridge the gap between historical peasants toiling on feudal lands and modern-day service and corporate workers enduring industry exploitation. Through a sharp lens of biting satire, Mikkel chronicles the frustrations of those who labor behind the scenes—while ultimately celebrating the resilient spirit of the people who persist against the odds. #PeasantVibes premiered at the 2025 Hollywood Fringe Festival - nominated for the Loud Karma’s Emerging Women and Non-Binary Playwright’s Award and selected for an Encore Performance extension at The Actors Company. This performance is updated from the 2025 show, with new peasants along side the peasants you know and love! Produced in partnership with Jessica Lynn Johnson of Soaring Solo as part of the 2026 STAR Series. Come join Mikkel and her ensemble of peasants, new and old!
