"Pas de Deux" at American Contemporary Ballet at Bank of America Plaza

American Contemporary Ballet opens its 15th season with Pas de Deux, an evening featuring Balanchine at his most intimate ("Sonatine"), jazzy ("Rubies" pas de deux), and transcendent ("Episodes"), and the premiere of a new ballet by ACB Artistic Director Lincoln Jones. The four ballets show that the relationship between a man and a woman can be many things -- including a work of art. Performed to live music in ACB's intimate venue, the program offers a rare and mesmerizing look at one of ballet's most transcendent moments -- and proof that the most eloquent conversations happen without words.
