PLAYBACK is a tense drama about narrative control, the violence of being turned into content, and the need to replay relationships better left in the past. The story follows Charlie, whose viral podcast Expiration Date interviews former couples about their breakups, starting with her own, until a dangerous power struggle erupts when her ex-boyfriend's private information is shared without his consent. Written by Jessica Marie Fisher and directed by Brian Eckert, the cast includes Everleigh Brenner, Jack Menzies, Jimmy Berry, and Kylie Buckles Hall. The production is presented by This Is A Front as part of the Hollywood Fringe Festival and the company's season Break-Up Season.
