No One But Me, My Dear... is a solo show written by and starring Adam Frost-Venrick, directed by Shannon Reagan, set during the spiritualist revival of the early 1900s. Frost-Venrick plays Conrad Hoff, a tormented medium giving his last ever séance before a live audience, recounting his life story and his entanglement with a mysterious entity that demands ever-greater sacrifice. In this one-hour play, Hoff attempts to allow the being to possess him one final time in order to rid himself of it. The production is part of the Hollywood Fringe festival and contains jarring noises, infrasound, and strobe lights.
