All New People is proud to present the world premiere of Notorious, an evening of three new one-acts for the Hollywood Fringe Festival on Friday, June 16 th at 8:30pm at the McCadden Place Theatre.
These three historically-inspired one-acts beg the question, "What is the difference
between fame and infamy?" The answer: Notorious.
What was Lizzie Borden's life like after the murder trial that found her "not guilty?" What happened the night Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton met The Duke and Duchess of Windsor in their hotel room? What if Joan Crawford had been alive to see Mommie Dearest?
Victoria Hoffman, directs this dark comedy about love, celebrity and what we imagine about the lives’ of the notorious. Written by Lance Werth, Notorious features Los Angeles based actors Clayton Froning, Deborah Geffner, Timothy Huls, Mara Klein, Chad Restum, Jessica Lea Risco and Corinne Shor.
