Much Ado About Nothing at The Whitmore Lindley Theatre Center

Rotation Theatre Company (RTC) is thrilled to present its third annual summer Shakespeare production, Much Ado About Nothing.

“Our production takes place in Italy, during the month of August for what locals call ‘Ferragosto’– a time when everyone slows down and blows off steam,” said co-directors Emma Chase and Natalia Giovanni about the creative concept. “We are excited to explore the youthful exuberance that slips into recklessness, the carefree confidence that can become irresponsibility, and the intoxicating freedom of long, Sicilian summer nights.” RTC’s interpretation focuses on one overall question: What happens when people are given permission to stop being who they think they are?

Much Ado About Nothing will run from Friday, August 7, 2026 through Sunday, August 30, 2026 at The Whitmore-Lindley Theatre in North Hollywood, CA. Performances start at 8:00pm Friday/Saturday evenings and at 3:00pm on Sunday afternoons. (House opens 20min before showtime.)
