MOTHER at Madnani Theater

MOTHER is a one-woman multimedia psychological thriller written and performed by Christine Dickinson, directed by Kaitlin Humphreys, with an original score by Ben Finn. The show follows Daughter, a thirtysomething woman struggling with ambient stress, unaddressed trauma, impossible standards, and a strained relationship with Mother, who lives thousands of miles away and won't return her calls. Blending live performance with social media-style video elements, the piece considers the lengths a woman might go to in order to suppress a pain she can't quite place, even if that might mean losing herself in the process. The production runs approximately 50 minutes with no intermission.
