MANIAC at Broadwater Blackbox

MANIAC is a wild comedy blending clown, movement, lo-fi origami, and theatrical chaos in an absurd tribunal loosely inspired by 19th-century trial proceedings of the world's first serial killer. The show explores themes of truth and morality through absurdity made with pool noodles, finger lights, and troublewits. Written and performed by Denver-based theater-maker Todd Sullivan and directed by Natasha Mercado, the piece turns judgment itself into a comic spectacle — part ritual, part vaudeville. Sullivan is making his debut at the Hollywood Fringe Festival with this work, which has been described as unhinged, hilarious, and bizarre.
